Again, you are right on target. Outsou...Anonymous,

Again, you are right on target. Outsourcing is bad for Americans. And it's actually very simple to explain why.

As you have correctly stated, it's done EXCLUSIVELY to make use of cheap foreign labor. In order for outsourcing to be beneficial to Americans, the criterion is simple. The amount of money saved on the purchase of foreign products must be greater than the amount of worker income lost from the lost jobs.

This is because worker income is outsourced with the jobs. Does anyone really think that worker income lost to outsourced jobs is made up for by reduced prices?
If so, they must be practicing the new "alternate reality" Republican math. Companies wouldn't outsource jobs if the price reduction matched the labor income loss. It wouldn't save them any money. It's really that simple.

The ONLY reason jobs are outsourced is to reduce labor costs. And the price reductions do not make up for American worker income loss. And all of the "comparative advantage" arguments made by Republican ecomomists are nonsense. They are liars and should be exposed as such. Mankiw is almost as disgusting a liar as Bush. Maybe more so, since he must be smarter than Bush. (After all, how could anyone be dumber than Bush, and still find their way to Washington, D.C.?)

Mike

http://www.unlawflcombatnt.blogspot.com/unlawflcombatnthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09023628392835748327noreply@blogger.com
