No, I don't hate Catholics, and I don't hate the Pope. I respect him and them. But I don't want to live in a nation or a state governed by the rules of any church. We have separation of church and state. So, you know what?
I won't force feed anybody birth control pills against their will. But they don't get to prevent non-Catholics, or non-evangelicals, or even non-Orthodox Jews (have I covered everybody?) from obtaining bc pills, condoms, or IUDS.
We have freedom of choice and privacy rights here. Let's keep them.
Deeds said 10 years ago he wouldn't give any special rights to gay people if Bob McDonnell can't change his way of thinking in 20 years i know Deeds can't change his mind in just 10 years. I bet the Democrats love that comment.
Gay people don't want special rights. They simply want the same rights everybody else has, the right to a decent job, the right to marry, the right to raise their children, the right to live without fear or harrassment.
There is nothing extraordinary in that. And there is no contradiction in Deeds saying ten years ago that he opposes giving special rights to gays. There is nothing special about wanting to be treated like a normal American with the same rights we all enjoy!
I admire the Pope. But I wouldn't vote for him, or for Bob McDonnell. His opinions on birth control are ridiculous, and he really does intend to impose them on the rest of us by force of law.

So does the Pope. You hate Catholics or something?

Bob McDonnell will win. You can thank Obama and Tim Kaine.
