I have always thought that Dr. King must have had a premonition of his own death. It is eerie that this should be his final public speech before he was assassinated.
His continued presence and leadership could have meant so much to America had he lived. What a tremendous loss.

Dan, yes his untimely death was a terrible loss to the entire nation.
Others have also commented on how prescient that speech was. It truly was prophetic as well as eloquent.
